Upgrade your off-road lighting with the Baja Designs XL40 LED headlight kit and Hi/Lo harness, designed specifically for KTM XC-W, XW-F, and XCF-W models. Based on the powerful XL80, the XL40 delivers 5,224 proven lumens to a wide range of bikes. The included Hi/Lo harness allows you to drop the output to approximately 25% of high beam (1,435 lumens) for low beam, which is convenient for situations where full power is not always required.
Optimized for dirt bikes with lower-output stock stators, the XL40 has a power draw of just 43.5W, making it an ideal upgrade for riders who previously lacked a compatible high-performance option. When paired with the signature XL trail lens, it achieves vertical and horizontal beam coverage, providing excellent visibility from short-range to peripheral areas. This trail lens disperses the overly intense spot light of the center beam, improving visibility for elevation changes, vertical transitions, and tight corners. The result is a smooth, uniform light spread that boosts confidence on demanding terrain.
This kit is a replacement for the stock headlight unit and includes an in-line Hi/Lo harness and a Motominded mount for easy installation.

All product databases are based on North American (USDM) vehicles; please check compatibility with your Japanese domestic (JDM) vehicle before ordering. (If you are unsure whether a listed product fits your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
If you order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if items are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model in the tabs on our home page, it does not necessarily guarantee that they will fit a Japanese model vehicle without modification.

○ About Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of settlement. For shipping estimates, the amount will be automatically calculated when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually by email.
In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself enough time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm the delivery date. All products are transported via air freight; they are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
All products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for these requirements. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement products if you contact us within 7 days of receipt regarding items with shipping damage, defective goods, or items different from what you ordered. Please note that for products sold through us, warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located in Japan.
