Upgrade your off-road visibility with the Baja Designs XL40 LED Headlight Kit, designed for the GasGas ES and featuring a high/low beam harness. Carrying the powerful legacy of the XL80, the XL40 delivers its trail-proven 5,224 lumens to a wider range of bikes. The included high/low harness allows you to adjust brightness as needed, capping output at approximately 25% (1,435 lumens) of the high-beam power when on low beam.
Engineered for dirt bikes with low-output OEM stators, the XL40 consumes only 43.5W, providing the perfect high-performance upgrade for riders who previously lacked compatible premium options. When paired with our proprietary XL trail lens, it provides superior vertical and horizontal coverage, ensuring exceptional near-field and peripheral visibility. The trail lens disperses the intense hot spot of the center beam, designed to provide a clear view of terrain changes, vertical variations, and sharp corners. The result is a smooth, even field of light that allows you to illuminate demanding conditions with confidence.
This kit replaces the OEM headlight and includes an inline high/low harness and an easy-to-install Motominded mount.

〇 Regarding Import Duties
At Shaftoya Shopping Site, we cover the import consumption tax incurred during customs clearance, so there are no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇 Fitment Verification
Our entire product database is based on North American specification (USDM) vehicles. Please verify whether the product is compatible with Japanese specification (JDM) vehicles before ordering. (If you are unsure if a listed product fits your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to investigate for you.)
If you place an order without verifying fitment, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if items are sorted by year, make, and model using the tabs on our homepage, it does not guarantee that they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic Japanese shipping, international shipping typically takes 7 to 14 days, so please allow sufficient time when placing your order. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. All products are transported via air freight; they are not shipped via sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection Compliance
Basically, all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with "Japanese Vehicle Inspection" (Shaken) standards, and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for such purposes. Therefore, all parts are sold for use on "circuits, private land, or off-road use only." Installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please inspect the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there is a possibility of shipping damage to packaging or the product itself. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for damaged items, defective products, or incorrect items if you notify us within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that for products sold through us, warranty support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not handle support through other third-party agencies located within Japan.
