The Baja Designs XL40 (D/C) LED headlight kit is a new model specifically designed for the KTM 690 Enduro R and SMC-R. It offers optimal performance for trail riders, dual-sport enthusiasts, and desert riders looking to improve visibility from day to night. Inheriting the performance of the XL80, it brings 5,224 lumens of brightness to a wider range of motorcycles. Designed for off-road bikes with low-output factory stators, it consumes only 43.5W, providing a powerful lighting upgrade without a heavy electrical load. The low-beam function reduces output by 25%, providing 1,434 lumens when needed. Combined with signature XL trail lenses, it ensures excellent near-field and peripheral vision with both vertical and horizontal beam patterns. The center beam intensity is redistributed for narrow, technical single-track, providing smooth, uniform coverage without glare. This allows for exceptional visibility on steep inclines, rapid altitude changes, and tight corners, letting you ride challenging terrain with confidence. The XL40 LED headlight kit is a direct replacement for the factory headlight and features plug-and-play installation with the included Hi/Low harness.

If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic Japanese shipping, international delivery takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow sufficient time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us to confirm delivery times in advance. All products are transported via air freight; they are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
All products we handle are essentially designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they are not compliant with "Japanese Vehicle Inspection Standards," and we cannot provide documents such as strength calculation reports for Japanese inspection purposes. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private land, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please inspect the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to packaging or products. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for items with shipping damage, defective goods, or incorrect items if you notify us within 7 days of receipt. Please note that for products sold through us, warranty support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not coordinate with other domestic companies or agencies for warranty claims.
