At Shafto-ya Shopping Site, we cover the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so you will not be charged any additional fees beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇Compatibility Check
Our entire product database is based on North American vehicles (USDM). Please verify compatibility with Japanese market vehicles (JDM) before placing an order. (If you are unsure whether the listed product fits your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to investigate for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to fitment issues.
Please note that even if products are filtered by selecting the year, make, and model on our homepage, it does not guarantee that they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.
All product information is translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there are rare cases where there is a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow sufficient time when placing your order. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm the delivery date. Note that all products are transported by air; we do not use sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compliance
Basically, all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please understand that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength evaluation documents or similar paperwork for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, and off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, packaging boxes and products may sustain shipping damage. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges for items with shipping damage, defective products, or incorrect items if notified within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, for products sold through us, all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through our company." Please note that we do not coordinate with other companies or agencies located within Japan.
