The Wisefab Mazda RX8 lock kit features relocated steering racks for improved performance. We have created a custom 7075 aluminum billet U-joint to connect the Mazda steering column to the BMW rack. This lock kit includes adjustable Ackermann with custom washers and has corrected kinematics. All OEM bushings are replaced with spherical bearings for superior and precise handling.

Recommended alignment parameters are as follows:
Toe in/out: 2mm out if Ackermann is 0 or negative. 0 if Ackermann is positive
Camber: -4 +/-0,5
Caster: 6 +/-0,5

Fits Mazda RX8 and MX5 NC (2005-2015)
This kit comes with parts to mount a BMW E36 or E46 rack to the subframe. The knuckles have two tie rod mounting positions: the original rack position and a lowered position. The lower position also has some adjustability in case someone has already lowered the rack and it doesn't match the designed height. -

Higher roll center (RC)
With Wisefab knuckles, both joints are dropped to provide a higher front RC when the car is low, resulting in higher roll stiffness, better camber control, and minimal bump steer. Our kinematics ensure that the camber provides excellent front grip and bump steer is minimized throughout the steering range. -
Steering jacking control
When drifting, jacking increases at large steering angles, which can be an issue even with the same geometry. We have modified the geometry in a way that avoids operational problems. -
Consistent and predictable self-aligning torque
Caster is not the only important parameter to provide enough self-aligning torque, especially at high lock. It is a combination of different parameters to maintain consistent trail and self-aligning torque. With this setup, the steering wheel always rotates in the direction of travel and does not get stuck at full lock.

Other information:
- This kit assumes coilovers with sufficient clearance
- Ride height is designed to be a maximum of 80 mm when measured from the subframe to the ground
- Fenders or flares may need to be widened depending on rim width and ET
- No inner wheel well modification required for tire diameters up to 635 mm (e.g., 215/45R17, 225/45R17, 235/40R17, 225/40R18)
- Minimum rim size is 17 inches
- Recommended backspacing is ~135 mm (7” ET45, 8” ET35, 9” ET20). If the ET is smaller, the wheel will sit further out; if the ET is larger, spacers must be used
- Original wheel speed sensors (ABS sensors) can be used
- Original sway bar can be used in the front

○ Regarding delivery
Shipping fees are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the automatic shipping calculation may rarely differ significantly from the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please order with enough time. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. All products are transported by air. They will not be shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese vehicle inspection (Shaken) compliance
Please note that the products we handle are basically designed and manufactured outside of Japan. They are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents for Japanese inspection purposes. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to packaging boxes or the products themselves. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges if you contact us within 7 days of receipt for products with shipping damage, defective products, or incorrect items. Please note that for products sold through us, warranty support will be handled "only through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located in Japan.
