Verus Engineering Ford Mustang S550 Hood Louver Kit (GT Hood Version)
The Verus Engineering Hood Louver Kit reduces heat and pressure in the engine bay. By improving airflow from the engine bay, the louvers enhance air passage through the radiator and intercooler, increasing the efficiency of the cooling stack. Furthermore, by reducing pressure buildup within the engine bay, they reduce front-end lift and provide a slight increase in front-end downforce.
During the design process, we utilized scan data and CFD to place the louvers in a position that flows with the contours of the hood, maintained the majority of the structural metal underneath the hood, and located the unit in a low-pressure area on the hood.
This hood louver kit is designed for S550 Mustang owners who are looking for a louver kit that has been intentionally placed, built, and tested. The kit is lighter than most carbon fiber vented hoods. The louvers improve both the cooling and aerodynamic performance of the Mustang.

If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model in the tabs on our top page, it does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you via email separately.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself enough time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to check the delivery time. Note that all items are shipped via air freight; they are not shipped via sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
All products handled by our company are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide documents such as strength calculation reports for Japanese inspection purposes. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents of your order immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement products if you contact us within 7 days of receipt regarding damaged, defective, or incorrect items. Please note that for products sold through our company, warranty support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other domestic companies or agencies in Japan.
