Verus Engineering Volkswagen Mk7 Golf R/GTI Hood Louver Kit
The Verus Engineering Hood Louver Kit reduces heat and pressure in the engine bay. By improving airflow out of the engine bay, the louvers increase airflow through the radiator and intercooler, improving the efficiency of the cooling stack. Additionally, by reducing pressure buildup in the engine bay, they reduce front-end lift and provide a slight increase in front-end downforce.
During the design process, we utilized scan data and CFD to place the louvers along the hood's contours, maintaining the majority of the structural metal under the hood while positioning the units in a low-pressure area on the hood.
This hood louver kit is for MK7 Golf R/GTI owners looking for an intentionally placed, manufactured, and tested louver kit that improves the Golf's cooling and aerodynamic performance.

Our entire product database is based on North American specification vehicles (USDM), so please confirm whether the product can be installed on a Japanese specification vehicle (JDM) before ordering. (If you are unsure if a listed product fits your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will investigate for you.)
If you place an order without confirming fitment, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if items are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model in the tabs on our top page, this does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of settlement. Estimates for shipping costs are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself enough time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to check the delivery time. Note that all products are transported by air. They will not be shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Please be aware that all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. They are not compliant with "Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) standards," and we are unable to provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for these standards. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival of the product. As all products are shipped internationally from outside of Japan, packaging boxes and products may sustain shipping damage. We will only accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for products with shipping damage, defective products, or products different from those ordered, provided we are contacted within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that for products sold through us, warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located in Japan.
