SPL Parts Rear Toe Arms (RTA) for the 2016-2021 Mazda MX-5 Miata improve stability and responsiveness by eliminating bushing deflection, and expand the rear toe adjustment range required for lowered vehicles or performance tuning.
Even minor changes in ride height and camber affect toe settings. A wide adjustment range allows you to maximize grip for track cars or extend tire life for street cars. The factory rear toe arms use eccentric bolts and washers for adjustment, lacking the precision and range provided by SPL Parts rear toe links.
The black anodized and gun-drilled 2024 aluminum main links and 360-degree rotating clamp design allow for quick and precise adjustment. The rotating clamps are tightened with blue anodized titanium socket head cap screws, facilitating adjustment and further reducing unsprung weight without compromising strength.
The factory eccentric bolts provided by Mazda to fine-tune camber/toe tend to slip under high cornering loads, causing changes in rear alignment. Our SPL Parts Eccentric Lockout (EL) kit eliminates the factory eccentric bolts and keeps the rear alignment in the set position. Our lockout plates are CNC-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and come with zinc-plated grade 10.9 hardware that absolutely prevents slipping.
The FK spherical bearings and rod ends are manufactured in Connecticut, using Teflon liners to provide quiet operation, low friction, and smooth articulation, while eliminating bushing deflection under load. The liners are also self-lubricating and self-cleaning, providing robust reliability for street and track use. The PTFE liner is chemically bonded to the inner race, providing a very high load-carrying capacity with significantly improved dynamic wear characteristics. The liner has an operating temperature range of -65°F to 325°F, providing robust reliability.
