Skunk2 Racing Universal M14x1.5 Magnetic Drain Plug
Skunk2 takes magnetic drain plugs to the next level by using high-quality CNC-machined titanium. This kit fits Honda and Acura vehicles with an M14 x 1.5 drain bolt pattern and includes one engine oil pan drain plug and one transmission oil drain plug. It may also fit other applications, provided the bolt pattern matches.
Magnetic drain plugs are more than just an accessory; they are used in various forms of motorsport around the world to help attract metallic micro-particles. Fine metal particles can accumulate in the engine over time and potentially clog narrow passages with tight tolerances. In the long term, this can reduce oil flow to internal engine components or even lead to total oil starvation and failure.
Being able to check the metal content on the tip of the drain plug during oil changes provides valuable feedback on the condition of your engine. Excessive metal accumulation could indicate internal issues, potentially allowing you to save your valuable engine build before it's too late.

Our entire product database is based on North American vehicles (USDM), so please verify whether parts can be installed on Japanese vehicles (JDM) before ordering. (Please feel free to contact us if you are unsure if a listed product is compatible with your vehicle. Our support team will investigate for you.)
If you order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model on the tabs on our top page, this does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of payment. Shipping estimates are automatically calculated when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping within Japan, international delivery takes about 7 to 14 days, so please order with sufficient time. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm the delivery date. Note that all products are transported by air freight; they are never shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Please note that all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. They are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for these regulations. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "circuit use, private land, or off-road use," and installation and usage are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges for items with shipping damage, defective products, or items different from what was ordered if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please note that for products sold through us, warranty support will be provided "only through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
