Skunk2 is pleased to introduce its all-new Alpha Series connecting rods, available for the most popular Honda and Acura applications. Alpha Series rods are forged from select 4340 chromoly steel and feature a straight H-beam design for the ultimate strength-to-weight ratio. 4340 chromoly is among the strongest materials available; however, not all 4340 chromoly is created equal. That is why Skunk2 relies on extensive material testing and works closely with our foundry to produce high-quality rods at an affordable price. A comprehensive heat-treating, tempering, and shot-peening process ensures that every Alpha Series rod maintains consistency and strength. Finally, each rod is Magnafluxed to ensure integrity and to verify that each process has been completed strictly to Skunk2’s exacting specifications. Not all forged H-beam steel rods are the same. Only Skunk2’s Alpha Series rods feature proprietary designs and precision machining, are capable of handling 900+ horsepower, and are all offered at an economical price.

〇 Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At the Shaftoya shopping site, we pay the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so there are no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇 Compatibility Confirmation
As our entire product database is based on North American market vehicles (USDM), please confirm compatibility with Japanese domestic market vehicles (JDM) before ordering. (If you are unsure whether a listed product fits your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to check for you.)
Please note that if you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to fitment issues.
Additionally, please be aware that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model via the tabs on our top page, this does not necessarily guarantee that they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your delivery address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the actual shipping cost may occasionally differ significantly from the amount calculated automatically. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow ample time for your order. If you are in a hurry, please inquire about delivery times in advance. Note that all products are transported by air; they are never shipped via sea freight.
○ Regarding Compliance with Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)
The products we handle are fundamentally designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please understand that they are not compliant with the "Japanese vehicle inspection system" (Shaken), and we are unable to provide strength inspection documents or similar paperwork for these regulations. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private land, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents of your order immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be instances of shipping damage to packaging boxes or the products themselves. Please understand that for items with shipping damage, defective products, or items different from your order, we will only handle returns, refunds, or exchanges if contacted within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, for products sold through our company, all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." Please note that we do not coordinate with other companies or agencies located within Japan for these matters.
