About Thermalnator Thermal Shield Gaskets
Thermalnator is a unique high-temperature shielding gasket that replaces the factory intake manifold gasket. The cooling properties of the Thermalnator gasket reduce heat by stopping the metal-to-metal contact between the intake manifold and the engine block. Using a Thermalnator gasket reduces the heat of the air entering the engine, resulting in an increase of up to 5% in horsepower.
The Thermalnator gasket allows the intake manifold to function like an intercooler. Because the manifold is no longer being heated by the cylinder head, the heat from the incoming air is dissipated through the aluminum very rapidly. The basic formula is that for every 5°F increase in intake air temperature, air density decreases by 1%. Denser air results in higher horsepower.
Average testing shows a decrease of 25°F, with some applications seeing a decrease of up to 35°F. This is why the Thermalnator gasket is an excellent upgrade for both stock and modified vehicles.

If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if a product is sorted by year, manufacturer, and vehicle model using the tabs on our top page, it does not necessarily mean that it will fit Japanese models without modification.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your delivery address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Essentially, all products are shipped internationally from our warehouse in the United States. Unlike domestic shipping within Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself plenty of time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to check the estimated delivery time. Please note that all products are transported by air; they are never shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
The products we handle are essentially designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they do not comply with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we are unable to provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for these requirements. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.

Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges for items with shipping damage, defective products, or items different from what was ordered if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please note that for products sold through us, we only provide warranty support "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
