〇 Regarding Import Taxes
At the Shaftoya shopping site, we cover the import taxes incurred upon arrival, so there are no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇Checking Compatibility
All product databases are based on North American vehicles (USDM), so please verify compatibility with Japanese vehicles (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure whether a listed product fits your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to assist you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to fitment issues.
Please note that even if items are sorted by selecting the year, make, and model on our homepage, it does not necessarily guarantee that they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.
All product descriptions are translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow sufficient time for your order to arrive. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all products are transported by air; we do not use sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection Compliance
All products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please understand that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for these regulations. Therefore, all parts are sold for "use on tracks, private property, or off-road," and you are responsible for their installation and use.
○ Regarding Warranties
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be instances where packaging or products are damaged during transit. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for items with shipping damage, defects, or incorrect items if contacted within 7 days of receipt. Please understand that for products sold through us, warranty support will be provided "exclusively through us." We do not coordinate with other companies or agencies within Japan for these services.
