〇 Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At the Shaftoya shopping site, we cover the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so there are no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇 Checking Compatibility
Our entire product database is based on North American specification vehicles (USDM), so please verify compatibility with Japanese specification vehicles (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure whether a listed product fits your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, make, and model using the tabs on our homepage, this does not guarantee they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.
All product descriptions have been translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us if you have any questions before ordering.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. For shipping estimates, the cost will be calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the actual shipping cost may occasionally differ significantly from the amount automatically calculated. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Essentially, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic Japanese shipping, international delivery takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow plenty of time when ordering. If you are in a rush, please inquire about the delivery date in advance. Note that all products are transported by air; they are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)
All products handled by our company are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we cannot provide strength evaluation reports or similar documents for that purpose. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private land, or off-road," and you are responsible for their installation and use at your own discretion.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please inspect the contents immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be instances of shipping damage to packaging boxes or the products themselves. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement products for items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, for products sold through us, all warranty-related matters will be handled "exclusively through our company." Please note that we do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
