2002–2007 WRX / 2004–2021 STI Recirculating BOV by Perrin
The small outlet of the OEM BOV restricts boost discharge speed and is prone to boost leaks. The PERRIN BOV eliminates this concern with a much larger outlet and full adjustability. Featuring a large 1.225-inch inlet and outlet, the PERRIN Blow Off Valve is perfectly sized to vent any amount of boost pressure without fear of compressor surge. These inlet and outlet sizes were chosen to ensure the perfect balance of flow, keeping boost in the system without dumping excessive boost and ruining response.
The PERRIN Blow Off Valve cap features adjustable spring tension, allowing you to tune how the blow-off valve vents. A loose setting provides smooth, near-stock operation. A tight setting slows down venting and significantly increases boost levels. This adjustment is critical for maintaining air within the boost system without degrading turbo response. The unique design allows you to control the amount of air released when the blow-off valve vents. Adjusting the air volume allows you to maintain the optimal amount of boost in the system during shifts without causing compressor surge. Releasing too little air can damage the turbo, while releasing too much can reduce throttle response. This adjustment is independent of relief pressure, allowing for a fully customizable blow-off valve.
It is critical that the WRX/STI blow-off valve recirculates air back into the intake tract to maintain proper air-fuel ratios and drivability between shifts. The PERRIN Blow Off Valve requires very little maintenance, but can be disassembled very easily and quickly if necessary. Two O-rings are used to seal critical components from the elements, allowing for extended service intervals. No special tools are required, and maintenance is possible without removing the blow-off valve from the vehicle.
The PERRIN Blow Off Valve cap, piston, and flange are all CNC machined from 6061 billet aluminum. The PERRIN blow-off valve body is CNC machined from a single block of aluminum. This reduces potential failure points and leaks, and provides a clean look without adding extra parts. The PERRIN blow-off valve body is finished in black or red anodizing, and the cap is finished in black anodizing. All PERRIN Blow Off Valves include the components necessary for a direct bolt-on installation for the WRX/STI. Each blow-off valve comes pre-set out of the box to perform perfectly for all applications.

If you order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of settlement. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself plenty of time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us to check the delivery date in advance. Note that all products are transported by air; they are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
In principle, all products handled by our company are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they do not comply with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide documents such as strength calculation reports for the purpose of the Japanese vehicle inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival of the product. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside of Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. We only accept returns, refunds, or replacements for products with shipping damage, defective products, or products different from the order if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please note that for products sold through our company, all warranty-related support will be handled "only through our company." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
