Perrin 06-07 Subaru Impreza WRX / 04-07 Impreza STI Positive Steering Response System (P.S.R.S)
P.S.R.S stands for Positive Steering Response System, a product that replaces the rear bushings on the front control arms. Factory bushings are designed for comfort, but performance-minded drivers often dislike the deflection they create. Installing these upgraded bushings significantly improves cornering and suspension performance.
It is known that factory bushings can deflect by as much as 13mm during braking and acceleration, causing unwanted wheel movement and alignment changes, which lead to steering instability and changes in tire contact patches.
After installing the PERRIN PSRS, alignment changes during braking are greatly reduced, improving front tire traction.
The PSRS bushings are intentionally offset from the center. This adds approximately 0.5 degrees of caster to the front, resulting in faster corner turn-in.
Furthermore, it slightly reduces the "anti-lift" geometry built into the factory suspension, allowing the driver to control front-to-rear weight transfer more precisely.
