Due to the design of the transmission's internal components, there is an unacceptable amount of side-to-side slop in the 1st and 2nd gear shift gates. What should have very little movement ends up having nearly 1.0 inch of play. This causes the shift gates to be positioned unnaturally, making it difficult to know which gear you are in. The PERRIN Shifter Stop eliminates this play, reducing horizontal movement to 0.12 inches. This creates a solid connection between the driver and the transmission.
The PERRIN Shifter Stop is perfectly engineered to bolt directly onto the shifter. Because it is made of 6061-T6 aluminum, you can perform countless downshifts from 3rd to 2nd gear without worrying about damage to the shifter stop or the shifter itself. Each PERRIN Shifter Stop comes with hardware that eliminates existing gaps within the shifter assembly, further reducing the lateral movement of the shifter assembly.
The PERRIN Shifter Stop is black anodized, providing a hard, smooth surface to rest the shifter against during shifts from 1st to 2nd gear. This also ensures that the shifter stop maintains its attractive appearance over time.

Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. ○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
The products we handle are basically all designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide documents such as strength calculation reports for the Japanese inspection system. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there is a possibility of shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges for items with shipping damage, defective products, or incorrect items if you contact us within 7 days of receipt.
