2017-2019 Honda Civic Type R Oil Cooler Kit by Perrin
Under racing conditions, engine oil temperatures rise rapidly. This degrades engine performance and reduces the oil's ability to provide proper lubrication. A properly designed engine oil cooling system, such as the Perrin Oil Cooler Kit, helps maintain temperatures within the desired range, preserving performance and extending engine life. Most setups see a drop of approximately 15-20 degrees at 7000 RPM.
By using a bar-and-plate core, heat dissipation is maximized without increasing pressure. Inline turbulators are positioned between the oil passages to gently stir the fluid being cooled, ensuring that the fluid is exposed to the entire internal surface area of the oil cooler while minimizing pressure loss.
The Perrin Oil Cooler Kit incorporates an 85°C (185°F) thermostat. This ensures the oil reaches its optimal temperature within the engine before being released into the oil cooler.
The Perrin Oil Cooler comes with custom brackets that allow the oil cooler core to be mounted directly to existing holes in the vehicle's OEM core support. Made from CNC-machined 6061 T6 aluminum, the brackets blend seamlessly behind the bumper, providing a sleek and stylish look.
The Perrin Oil Cooler Kit is equipped with lightweight Aeroquip brand -10 hoses with a continuous temperature rating of 250 psi and 300°F. Each hose comes pre-assembled and wrapped in an industrial-grade pyro jacket, capable of withstanding continuous exposure from 500°F to 2,000°F.

If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Furthermore, please note that even if items are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model in the tabs on our top page, this does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the actual shipping cost may occasionally differ significantly from the automated calculation. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please order with enough time to spare. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. All products are transported by air. They are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
All products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese vehicle inspection system," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar items for that purpose. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please inspect the contents immediately upon delivery. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there is a possibility of shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges for items with shipping damage, defective products, or incorrect items if notified within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, for products sold through us, warranty support will be handled "exclusively through us."
