This unit also features a special hardening process to ensure the gears last even under extreme conditions. We recommend having this professionally installed.
Please note that the crown wheel bolts are 12x1.25mm pitch bolts, which are also compatible with 13mm limited-slip differentials. The locating points are determined by the machining of the LSD and crown wheel. Do not be concerned; 12mm bolts are commonly used in 13mm LSDs. The bolts only handle clamping duties; the machining accuracy of the LSD and crown wheel determines the "runout" of the LSD/gear assembly.
