When torque or twisting force is applied to a shaft, shear stress is generated within the shaft. The material we use is capable of withstanding high stress loads.
After manufacturing the shafts, they are sent for a nitridingtreatment. What is nitriding? A heat-treating process that diffuses nitrogen into the surface of a metal to create a case-hardened surface.
