〇 Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At the Shafutoya shopping site, we cover the import consumption tax incurred upon importation, so there will be no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇 Confirmation of Compatibility
Our entire product database is based on North American (USDM) vehicles; please verify whether the items can be installed on Japanese (JDM) vehicles before placing your order. (If you are unsure whether a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
If an order is placed without verifying compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, make, and model on our homepage tabs, this does not necessarily guarantee that they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.
All products have been translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be ambiguous phrasing, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the actual shipping cost may occasionally differ significantly from the amount calculated automatically. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic Japanese shipping, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow sufficient time when placing your order. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all products are transported by air; sea freight is not used.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
The products we handle are fundamentally designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we are unable to provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for these inspections. Therefore, all parts are sold for "circuit, private property, or off-road use only," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside of Japan, there is a possibility of shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or exchanges for products with shipping damage, defects, or incorrect items if notified within 7 days of receipt. Additionally, for products sold through our company, all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." Please note that we do not facilitate support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
