〇 Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At the Shaftoya shopping site, we cover the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so there will be no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇 Confirmation of Compatibility
All product databases are based on North American vehicles (USDM vehicles), so please confirm whether the item can be installed on a Japanese vehicle (JDM vehicle) before ordering. (If you are unsure if a listed product fits your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will investigate for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model using the tabs on our top page, it does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.
All products have been translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of payment. Regarding shipping estimates, they are automatically calculated when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually by email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic delivery within Japan, international delivery takes about 7 to 14 days, so please order with plenty of time. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Furthermore, all products are transported by air. They are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Basically, all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese vehicle inspection system," and we are unable to provide strength study documents or the like for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private land, and off-road," and please install and use them at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
When the product arrives, please check the contents immediately. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packing box or the product itself. Please understand that we will only handle returns, refunds, or replacements for products with shipping damage, defective products, or products different from what was ordered if contacted within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, regarding products sold through us, we will handle warranty matters "only through us." Please note that we do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
