Kelford Racing DLC-coated rocker arm set, recommended for reinforcing the valvetrain of the Nissan SR20 engine.
Each rocker arm features a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating, which provides superior friction reduction and wear resistance. This special, ultra-smooth coating has a hardness near that of diamond, significantly reducing friction between metal surfaces and lowering the risk of wear and seizure. It helps suppress wear at high RPMs and contributes to improved valvetrain durability.
The design includes a dual valve guide conversion, improving rocker arm rotational stability and oil retention. It is a reinforced specification that provides peace of mind even when using more aggressive high-lift camshafts.
It adopts a superior Pulsar GTI-R style pivot design and is also compatible with standard aftermarket retaining clips.
Furthermore, the valve tip arm, a known weak point of the OEM design, has been improved; it allows for the installation of yoke-type shims on both valve tips, while the extended rocker pad improves oil film retention, supporting more aggressive camshaft profiles.
