When extracting maximum power from an engine, the details make all the difference. To begin making changes that achieve optimal performance, it is important to pay close attention to how air enters and exits your engine.
A well-designed cold air intake and high-flow cone filter are excellent ways to help your engine breathe better, but there are limitations to the filter at the end of the pipe. If you have ever looked inside an intake manifold, you may have noticed the curved "bell mouth" profile at the entrance of each intake runner. This bell mouth is added because, in the right circumstances, it can improve the efficiency of air traveling through a pipe by as much as 70%.
That said, you can see similar benefits by adding a similar bell mouth (in this case, a velocity stack) to the end of your cold air intake. Each kit includes a velocity stack, filter, and hose clamp to connect the two. The velocity stack has a 6-inch inlet and a 3-inch or 3.5-inch outlet. All that is required to connect to a 3-inch or 3.5-inch cold air intake is a silicone coupler and (2) hose clamps. The total height of the velocity stack is 2.25 inches. The total height of the fully assembled filter and velocity stack is 6.25 inches, with a diameter of 7.5 inches.

Please note: Hybrid Racing always recommends running a filter on your cold air intake. While running a velocity stack facing oncoming air without a filter may show slight gains, it puts your engine at risk, as unfiltered air can allow unwanted debris to enter the engine.

Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Estimates for shipping costs are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please order with time to spare. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery dates. All products are transported by air. They are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Essentially, all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for these purposes. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging box or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges for items with shipping damage, defective products, or items different from what was ordered, if notified within 7 days of receipt.
