Hybrid Racing 2000-2009 Honda S2000 Short Shifter
Due to age and wear, the factory shifter develops excessive play over time.
In vehicles that have been driven hard, the reality is that the shift feel is far from the solid sensation it once had.
At Hybrid Racing, we tested various materials and shapes for the main shifter shaft before engineering a new main cup section machined from durable PTFE material. Thanks to this highly durable material, the shifter ball provides an excellent shift feel even under high-temperature conditions.
This can be installed on both left-hand drive and right-hand drive vehicles. It allows you to raise the shift knob height by approximately 12mm to bring it closer to the steering wheel, and a major feature is the reduction in shift throw.
This is a suitable shifter option if you want to use a taller shift knob without having a long shift throw.
Additionally, it is possible to install our highly popular competition shift rod, which integrates the rod and shift knob.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of payment. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the automatically calculated shipping cost may rarely differ significantly from the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow enough time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to check the delivery time. All products are shipped via air freight. They are not shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
All products handled by our company are basically designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents for that purpose. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "circuit, private property, and off-road use," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges for items with shipping damage, defective products, or items different from what was ordered if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please note that for products sold through us, we will handle warranty-related issues "only through us." We do not handle issues through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
