Hybrid Racing shifter cable bushings are a cost-effective and easy way to add that crisp, precise feel to your shifter. Don't be fooled by the idea that all shifter cable bushings are created equal. Many companies mistakenly believe that both bushings used on OEM shifter cables can be replaced with solid metal or Delrin bushings. However, this is not the case. Honda uses rubber bushings on the cables because it is a cost-effective way to allow for two degrees of freedom. Solid metal or Delrin bushings only allow for one degree of freedom. Generally, eliminating degrees of freedom from the bushings requires more effort to shift and increases the likelihood of the shifter cables bending or breaking.
For this reason, Hybrid Racing shifter cable bushings incorporate a chrome-plated steel spherical bearing into the shifter bushing. This bearing provides the crisp, notchy feel you expect from shifter bushings without requiring the extra force needed for shifting as with other brands' bushings. Each shifter bushing comes with a spiral retaining ring to secure it to the cable and a stainless steel cotter pin to hold the cable to the transmission. The bushings are made of 6061 aluminum and are black anodized for enhanced corrosion protection.

Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse.
