HPS Performance Air Intake Kits are designed with style and performance in mind, replacing the factory intake and air filter housing with a 3.5-inch custom mandrel-bent aluminum tube and a powder-coated heavy-duty heat shield designed to maximize the performance of your BMW B58 inline-six turbo engine. A reusable high-flow cotton air filter is included to provide maximum airflow, increasing engine output by up to 22 hp and 26 lb-ft of torque. You will feel the power gains through improved throttle response and acceleration. This kit includes HPS 100% stainless steel T-bolt clamps and 4-ply reinforced silicone couplers designed to withstand the harshest driving conditions. 〇 Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At Shaft-ya Shopping Site, we pay the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so there will be no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇 Checking Compatibility
As our product database is primarily based on North American vehicles (USDM), please confirm whether the product can be installed on a Japanese vehicle (JDM) before placing your order. (Please feel free to contact us if you are unsure if the listed product is compatible with your vehicle. Our support team will be happy to assist you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model in the tabs on our top page, it does not necessarily guarantee that they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.
All products have been translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your delivery address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself plenty of time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all products are transported via air freight. They are not shipped via sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
The products we handle are basically all designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength evaluation documents or similar paperwork for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for "use on tracks, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents of your order immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside of Japan, there may be cases where packaging boxes or products suffer shipping damage. Please understand that for products with shipping damage, defective items, or items different from what was ordered, we will only handle returns, refunds, or exchanges if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please note that for products sold through our company, warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
