Built for performance and show, the HPS Red Short Ram Air Intake with Heat Shield for 2009-2013 Toyota Matrix 2.4L offers a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube induction system designed to improve airflow, increase horsepower and torque, and enhance throttle response while maintaining safe air-fuel ratios. The heat shield included in the kit maximizes cooling effects. Compared to a cold air intake, the HPS short ram cold air intake is a convenient way to change your intake on rainy days where water might be ingested into the cold air system. Our entire product database is based on North American vehicles (USDM). Please check whether the product can be installed on a Japanese domestic vehicle (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure whether a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to check for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if a product is sorted by selecting the model year, manufacturer name, and vehicle model using the tabs on our top page, this does not necessarily mean it will fit a Japanese model vehicle without modification.

○ Regarding Delivery
Shipping fees are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping fee estimates are automatically calculated when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping fee and the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic delivery within Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself plenty of time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to check the delivery time. Please note that all products are transported by air; they are not shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection Compatibility
The products we handle are basically all designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we are unable to provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for the Japanese vehicle inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private land, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product. We will provide returns, refunds, or replacement items only if you contact us within 7 days of receipt regarding items with shipping damage, defective products, or products different from your order. Please understand this policy. Furthermore, regarding products sold through us, warranty-related support will be provided "only through us." Please note that we do not handle support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
