NPT threads are widely used in automotive applications; however, they are not intended for repeated maintenance. HPS AN to NPT adapter fittings convert NPT female threaded ports to AN-style fittings to facilitate easier maintenance. AN-style fittings can be installed and removed multiple times without the need for additional sealant or gaskets, whereas barbed fittings or clamped hoses can be damaged by repeated use. HPS AN to NPT adapters are made of 6061 aluminum with a Type II black anodized finish for enhanced wear and corrosion resistance.

〇 Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At the Shaft-ya shopping site, we pay the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so you will not be charged any additional fees beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇Checking Compatibility
All product databases are based on North American vehicles (USDM), so please verify whether they can be installed on Japanese vehicles (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure if the listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, make, and model in the tabs on our top page, it does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.

○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there are rare cases where there is a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually by email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow plenty of time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Please note that all products are transported by air; they are never shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Essentially, all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please understand that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we cannot provide strength calculation reports or similar documents for that purpose. Therefore, all parts are sold for "circuit, private property, or off-road use only," and please install and use them at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for products with shipping damage, defects, or incorrect items if notified within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, please note that for products sold through us, all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." Please understand that we do not handle support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
