〇 Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At Shaft-ya, we pay the import consumption tax incurred at the time of importation on your behalf, so there will be no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇Compatibility Check
All product databases are primarily based on North American vehicles (USDM). Please confirm compatibility with Japanese domestic vehicles (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure whether the listed product will fit your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to assist you.)
If an order is placed without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if items are sorted by selecting the year, make, and model on our homepage, it does not necessarily guarantee a direct fit for Japanese models without modifications.
All product descriptions have been translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your delivery address on the checkout page. In rare cases, for large items such as body parts, there may be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic Japanese shipping, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow ample time for your order. If you are in a rush, please inquire about delivery times in advance. Note that all products are transported by air; they are never shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken)
All products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please understand that they are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for these inspections. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private land, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be instances of shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that for products with shipping damage, defective items, or items different from your order, we will only accept returns, refunds, or exchanges if contacted within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, for products sold through us, all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." Please be aware that we do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
