〇 Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At the Shafutoya shopping site, we cover the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so you will not be charged any additional fees beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇Checking Compatibility
Our entire product database is based on North American vehicle specifications (USDM vehicles). Please verify whether parts can be installed on Japanese market vehicles (JDM vehicles) before placing your order. (If you are unsure whether a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are filtered by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model via the tabs on our homepage, this does not necessarily guarantee a bolt-on fit for Japanese market models.
All product descriptions have been translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us if you have any questions before placing your order.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your delivery address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there are rare cases where a significant discrepancy occurs between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual cost. In such instances, we will contact you individually via email.
All products are generally shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow sufficient time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all products are transported via air freight; they are not shipped via sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
The products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we are unable to provide strength inspection documents or similar paperwork for these regulations. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and usage are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents of your order immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there is a possibility of shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement items for products with shipping damage, defective goods, or items that differ from your order if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, for products sold through us, all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." Please note that we do not facilitate support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
