Shafu-to-ya offers a wide selection of skid plates for quick-change differentials. Skid plates are an essential item for quick-change diffs, as they protect the case from damage caused by road contact.
We handle the production of custom one-off propeller shafts compatible with quick-change units, as well as other repair and optional parts. Please see here for more details.
Winters Quick Change units use a 1350-series differential flange. When installing a propeller shaft, we strongly recommend using Mark Williams billet U-bolt kits.
Lead Time
All Winters Quick Change differentials are hand-assembled one by one by technicians in the USA to meet various specifications. While we may have items in stock at our warehouse, if they are out of stock, it will take several weeks from order to shipment, so please inquire about lead times in advance.
Regarding Previous Casting Issues
Previously, some batches experienced casting defects that led to case cracking. Winters has since modified the casting structure and design, and changed the aluminum material to resolve the recall issue; therefore, such problems do not occur with current production batches.

〇Import Consumption Tax
At the Shafu-to-ya shopping site, we cover the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so you will not be charged any additional fees beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇Checking Compatibility
All of our product databases are based on North American vehicles (USDM). Please confirm whether or not parts can be installed on Japanese vehicles (JDM) before ordering. (If you are unsure if a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look it up for you.)
If you order without verifying compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if items are sorted by selecting the year, make, and model using the tabs on our top page, this does not necessarily guarantee a bolt-on fit for Japanese domestic models.

○Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of payment. Shipping estimates are automatically calculated when you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, the actual shipping cost may occasionally differ significantly from the automated calculation. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic Japanese shipping, international delivery takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow yourself enough time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Note that all products are transported by air; they are not shipped by sea.
○Regarding Japanese Road-Legal Compliance (Shaken)
All products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please understand that they do not conform to the "Japanese Shaken system," and we are unable to provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for Japanese inspection purposes. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "circuit use, private land use, or off-road use only," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there is a possibility of damage to the packaging or the product during transit. Please understand that we only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges if notified within 7 days of receipt for items that are damaged in transit, defective, or incorrect. Please note that for products sold through our company, all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
