〇 Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At the Shaftoya shopping site, we pay the import consumption tax incurred upon import on your behalf, so there are no additional charges beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇Checking Compatibility
All product databases are based on North American vehicles (USDM vehicles), so please check whether they can be installed on Japanese vehicles (JDM vehicles) before ordering. (If you are unsure whether the listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will look into it for you.)
If you order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model in the tabs on our top page, it does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.
All products have been translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us if you have any questions before ordering.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are automatically calculated on the checkout page once you enter your shipping address. For large items such as body parts, there are rare cases where there is a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually by email.
Essentially, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping within Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow plenty of time for your order. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Furthermore, all products are transported by air. They are not shipped by sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Basically, all the products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese Vehicle Inspection System," and we are unable to provide strength study documents or similar for the Japanese inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private land, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranties
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be shipping damage to the packaging or the product itself. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement exchanges for items with shipping damage, defective products, or incorrect items if notified within 7 days of receipt. Furthermore, regarding products sold through us, we will handle warranty-related matters "exclusively through us." Please note that we do not handle matters through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
