〇 Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At the Shaftoya shopping site, we cover the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so you will not be charged any additional fees beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇Confirmation of Compatibility
Our entire product database is based on North American vehicles (USDM), so please verify whether parts will fit Japanese domestic vehicles (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure whether a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model using the tabs on our homepage, this does not necessarily guarantee that they will fit Japanese models without modification.
All product descriptions have been translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us if you have any questions before placing your order.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping fees are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may occasionally be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping fee and the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
In principle, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic Japanese shipping, international delivery takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow ample time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Please note that all products are transported by air; sea freight is not used.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
The products we handle are fundamentally designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please be aware that they are not compliant with "Japanese vehicle inspection standards," and we are unable to provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for these standards. Therefore, all parts are sold for use on "circuits, private property, or off-road," and you are responsible for any installation and use at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents of your order immediately upon arrival. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there may be damage to the packaging or the product itself due to shipping. We will only provide returns, refunds, or replacements for damaged items, defective products, or incorrect items if you notify us within 7 days of receipt. Please note that for products sold through our company, all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
