The Redline Carbon Fiber Intake seamlessly blends elite performance with premium aesthetics to create the ultimate intake for the 2015-2021 WRX. Crafted from hand-laid carbon fiber and finished with a high-quality gloss clear coat, this intake system is guaranteed to be noticed in your engine bay.
The main airbox is constructed from multiple layers of 2x2 twill carbon fiber sheet, delivering a truly comprehensive carbon experience. The high-quality, glossy clear finish is resistant to heat and UV fading. A custom black Redline badge sits on the front of the integrated intake duct. Air is filtered through a large, pre-oiled filter before being channeled into the MAF housing. The wire-reinforced black silicone coupler is sealed at both ends with black anodized clamps for an incredibly refined installation.
This intake system utilizes several unique features to maintain optimal flow for performance while minimizing turbulence. A custom conical air filter element, CFD-designed velocity stack, and proprietary airflow straightener grid are designed to smooth out the incoming air as it passes the mass airflow sensor, allowing for accurate readings. The integrated high-temperature plastic composite design reduces weight and minimizes heat transfer.
