The 24" x 6.5" x 3.5" aluminum core, featuring cast aluminum end tanks, is highly efficient while keeping restrictions to a minimum. 2.5" (63.5mm) mandrel-bent aluminum tubing delivers pressurized air. It features formed ends to prevent the hoses from blowing off the intercooler. 5-ply silicone couplers and stainless steel T-bolt clamps are used throughout, further ensuring a reliable, leak-free connection. The process to ensure a perfect fit for the Cobb Tuning Gen2 MS3 Front Mount Intercooler Kit was as rigorous as the one used to ensure its high performance. This kit fits in place of the stock crash bar, maintaining factory occupant safety. The kit bolts into place without cutting the front bumper cover, requiring only a simple, easy trim of the front undertray.
Custom brackets allow for a perfect fit in the tight area behind the front bumper cover. The aesthetics of the Cobb Tuning Gen2 MS3 Front Mount Intercooler are, as expected from the attention to detail, second to none. The intercooler core is visually striking, positioned in the center of the bumper cover opening, and features a silver coating with the Cobb Tuning logo cast into the end tanks. The intercooler piping is powder-coated in wrinkle black and includes an integrated bracket with the COBB "C" logo. The 5-ply silicone couplers also feature the Cobb Tuning logo and are available in your choice of blue or black to perfectly match existing engine bay modifications.
The Cobb Tuning Gen2 MS3 Front Mount Intercooler is supported by Accessport off-the-shelf maps for use with the intercooler and various other power-producing modifications.
