The Chase Bays High Pressure Power Steering Hose is designed to eliminate the leaks common with OEM pressure hoses while improving aesthetics, increasing durability, and providing a stealthy design. It is also the perfect solution for engine swaps requiring a custom high-pressure hose. This is a 100% upgraded A.N. replacement for your factory hose and fittings. All hoses and hose ends are from BMRS (Brown & Miller Racing Solutions), the world’s best hose/hose end manufacturer, featuring the same components found on NASCAR and IndyCar vehicles. All fitting adapters are designed and manufactured by Chase Bays specifically for the chassis to ensure a completely leak-free installation.
The line from the high-pressure rack to the pump consists of -6AN stainless steel with a Teflon PTFE liner and a black Hytrel coating. This coating is crucial, as it prevents the hose from chafing against metal or other hoses. The kit is completed with high-end black billet aluminum fittings featuring proper O-rings or crush seals, along with metric-to-AN adapters to convert the rack and pump to AN.
Every hose is individually pressure-tested to 3,500 psi before leaving our facility. High-pressure power steering hoses never exceed 2,000 psi during operation.
