BC high-performance camshafts are ground on state-of-the-art CNC cam grinders, guaranteed to an accuracy and tolerance within 0.02 mm. Every BC camshaft profile is prototyped and dyno-tested to prove horsepower results before being put into mass production. Brian Crower, Inc. is able to pass cost savings on to the end user by grinding cores in high volume. Quality at an affordable price. All BC cams are checked with high-speed measuring gauges with sub-micron precision. The Adcole camshaft measuring system uses individual measuring heads for each cam journal and cam lobe, capturing one data point every 1/10th of a degree—3,600 data points per revolution—at 0.01-micron resolution. Capable of measuring 200 parts per hour, this model measures camshafts for profile errors and chatter marks.
