BC high-performance camshafts are ground on state-of-the-art CNC cam grinders to ensure accuracy and tolerances within 0.02 mm. All BC camshaft profiles are prototyped and dyno-tested to prove horsepower results before being released for production. Brian Crower, Inc. passes the cost savings on to the end user by grinding cores in high volume. Quality at an affordable price. All BC cams are checked with sub-micron precision high-speed measurement gauges. The Adcole camshaft measurement system uses individual measurement heads for each cam journal and cam lobe, capturing data points every 1/10th of a degree—3,600 points per revolution—at a resolution of 0.01 microns. This model, which measures camshafts for profile error and chatter mark detection, can measure 200 parts per hour.
