Stage 2+ Camshaft (by Brian Crower)
BC high-performance camshafts are ground on state-of-the-art CNC cam grinders, ensuring accuracy and tolerances within 0.02 mm. Every BC camshaft profile is prototyped and dyno-tested to verify horsepower results before being released for mass production. By grinding cores in high volume, Brian Crower, Inc. is able to pass cost savings on to the end user, offering quality at an affordable price. All BC cams are checked with high-speed sub-micron precision measurement gauges. The Adcole camshaft measuring system uses individual measuring heads for each cam journal and cam lobe, capturing one data point every 1/10 of a degree—3,600 data points per revolution—with a resolution of 0.01 microns. This model, which measures camshafts for lift error and chatter mark detection, can measure 200 parts per hour.
