BC high-performance camshafts are ground on state-of-the-art CNC cam grinders to ensure accuracy and tolerances within 0.02 mm. Every BC camshaft profile is prototyped and dyno-tested to verify horsepower results before being released for production. Brian Crower, Inc. passes the cost savings on to the end-user by grinding cores in high volume. Quality at an affordable price. All BC cams are checked with sub-micron precision high-speed measurement gauges. The Adcole camshaft measuring system uses individual measurement heads for each cam journal and cam lobe, capturing 3,600 data points per revolution (one point every 1/10th of a degree) with a resolution of 0.01 microns. This model, which measures camshafts for lift error and chatter mark detection, can measure 200 parts per hour.
