BC high-performance camshafts are ground on state-of-the-art CNC cam grinders, ensuring accuracy and tolerances within 0.02 mm. Every BC camshaft profile is prototyped and dyno-tested to prove horsepower results before being released for mass production. By grinding cores in high volume, Brian Crower, Inc. is able to pass the cost savings on to the end user. Quality at an affordable price. All BC cams are checked with sub-micron precision high-speed measurement gauges. The Adcole camshaft measurement system uses individual measurement heads for each cam journal and cam lobe, capturing one data point every 1/10th of a degree—3,600 data points per revolution—at 0.01-micron resolution. This model, which measures camshafts for lift errors and chatter marks, can measure 200 parts per hour.
