BC high-performance camshafts are ground on state-of-the-art CNC cam grinders to ensure accuracy and tolerances within 0.02 mm. Every BC camshaft profile is prototyped and dyno-tested to prove horsepower results before being released for production. Brian Crower, Inc. is able to pass on the cost savings to the end user by grinding cores in mass quantities. Quality at an affordable price. All BC cams are checked with sub-micron precision high-speed measuring gauges. The Adcole camshaft measurement system uses individual measuring heads for each cam journal and cam lobe, taking one data point every 1/10 of a degree, or 3,600 data points per revolution, with a resolution of 0.01 microns. This model, which measures camshafts for lift error and chatter mark detection, can measure 200 parts per hour.
