BC Made in Japan (Mitsubishi 4B11T / Evo X) 1.1mm Thick 87mm Bore Head Gasket
BC gaskets are made in Japan and provide ultimate sealing capability under extreme boost pressures. Compared to other leading gaskets, they feature individual die-cut layers of stainless steel with superior consistency. Those inferior brands are prone to fatigue due to oversized bead profiles, losing spring effect and consistent sealing pressure in a relatively short period, which leads to leaks. BC gaskets are made of stainless steel pre-coated with a uniform 0.2-micron layer of nitrile rubber that perfectly fills the cylinder head surface. Even on newly resurfaced cylinder heads or blocks with a surface finish or roughness of 10 to 15 microns, this nitrile rubber perfectly seals the surface at engine operating temperatures, unlike FKM types where the material is not suitable for filling surface roughness due to excessive heat resistance. Basically, FKM does not melt to fill surface imperfections and provide a proper seal.
