BC high-performance camshafts are ground on state-of-the-art CNC cam grinders, guaranteed to within 0.02 mm accuracy and tolerance. All BC camshaft profiles are prototyped and dyno-tested to prove horsepower results before being released for production. Brian Crower, Inc. is able to pass on the cost savings to the end user by grinding cores in high volume. Quality at an affordable price. All BC cams are checked with high-speed measuring gauges of sub-micron precision. The Adcole camshaft measurement system uses individual measuring heads for each cam journal and cam lobe, capturing one data point every 1/10th of a degree, or 3,600 data points per revolution, with a resolution of 0.01 microns. This model, which measures camshafts for lift error and chatter mark detection, can measure 200 parts per hour.
