〇 Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At Shaftoya Shopping Site, we pay the import consumption tax incurred at the time of import on your behalf, so you will not be charged any additional fees beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇 Compatibility Check
As our product database is primarily based on North American (USDM) vehicles, please confirm compatibility with Japanese (JDM) vehicles before placing your order. (If you are unsure whether the listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
Please note that if you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Additionally, even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model via the tabs on our home page, please be aware that this does not necessarily guarantee a direct fitment without modification for Japanese model vehicles.
All products have been translated into Japanese using translation software. As there may be confusing expressions, please contact us before ordering if you have any questions.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are calculated automatically once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. For large items such as body parts, there may be rare cases where there is a significant difference between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual cost. In such cases, we will contact you individually via email.
Essentially, all products are shipped internationally from our U.S. warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes approximately 7 to 14 days, so please allow ample time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us in advance to confirm delivery times. Furthermore, all products are transported by air; we do not use sea freight.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Essentially, all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese vehicle inspection system," and we are unable to provide documents such as structural strength studies for this purpose. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private land, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please inspect the contents immediately upon arrival. Since all products are shipped internationally from outside of Japan, packaging or the products themselves may sustain shipping damage. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or exchanges for shipping-damaged items, defective products, or incorrect items if notified within 7 days of receipt. Please also note that for products sold through us, all warranty-related support will be handled "exclusively through us." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
