〇 Regarding Import Consumption Tax
At the Shaftoya shopping site, we cover the import consumption tax incurred at the time of customs clearance, so you will not be charged any additional fees beyond the total amount paid at checkout.
〇 Confirmation of Compatibility
All product databases are based on North American vehicles (USDM), so please confirm whether the product can be installed on a Japanese vehicle (JDM) before placing your order. (If you are unsure whether a listed product is compatible with your vehicle, please feel free to contact us. Our support team will be happy to look into it for you.)
If you place an order without confirming compatibility, we cannot accept returns due to incompatibility.
Please note that even if products are sorted by selecting the year, manufacturer, and vehicle model via the tabs on our top page, this does not necessarily mean they will fit Japanese model vehicles without modification.
All products have been translated into Japanese using translation software. If you encounter any confusing expressions or have any questions, please contact us before ordering.
○ Regarding Shipping
Shipping costs are paid at the time of checkout. Shipping estimates are automatically calculated once you enter your shipping address on the checkout page. In rare cases, there may be a significant discrepancy between the automatically calculated shipping cost and the actual shipping cost for large items such as body parts. In such cases, we will contact you individually by email.
Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow plenty of time when ordering. If you are in a hurry, please contact us to confirm the delivery date in advance. Please note that all products are transported by air; they are never shipped by sea.
○ Regarding Japanese Vehicle Inspection (Shaken) Compatibility
Basically, all products we handle are designed and manufactured outside of Japan. Please note that they are not compliant with the "Japanese vehicle inspection (Shaken) system," and we cannot provide strength calculation documents or similar paperwork for the purpose of the Japanese vehicle inspection system. Therefore, all parts are sold for the purpose of "use on circuits, private property, or off-road," and installation and use are at your own risk.
○ Regarding Warranty
Please check the contents immediately upon arrival of the product. As all products are shipped internationally from outside Japan, there is a possibility of shipping damage to the packing boxes or the products themselves. Please understand that we will only provide returns, refunds, or replacement products for damaged items, defective products, or items that differ from your order if you contact us within 7 days of receipt. Please note that for products sold through our company, we will only handle warranty-related matters "through our company." We do not provide support through other companies or distributors located within Japan.
