The latest Version II carbon mirror covers for the E9X M3 have arrived. These Version II dry carbon mirror covers weigh just 121 grams, achieving a weight reduction of nearly half compared to the 239 grams per side for the Version I ABS overlays. Aside from the mounting clips, they are made of 100% carbon fiber, offering lighter weight and higher tensile strength than the ABS overlay version.
The name "dry carbon fiber" comes from its manufacturing process. Dry carbon fiber is molded using "pre-preg" or impregnated carbon material. This material is placed into a mold and then properly cured in a sealed vacuum state (autoclave). This method minimizes impurities and allows for the molding of carbon that is lighter than the "wet" method. Vacuum processing in an autoclave results in fewer pinholes in the carbon and almost no air bubbles. Dry carbon is the highest quality material among carbon fiber products produced.

Basically, all products are shipped internationally from our US warehouse. Unlike domestic shipping in Japan, international shipping takes about 7 to 14 days, so please allow plenty of time when ordering.
