TRED has released two new mounting adapters, allowing you to choose between side-mounting or flat-mounting when using the TPMK mounting plate. TRED mounting adapters are made from glass-fiber reinforced nylon, similar to the material used for the renowned ARB TRED PRO recovery boards, but with a higher concentration of glass fiber for increased strength. This material is lightweight and flexible, making it ideal for keeping TRED recovery boards within reach without obstructing cargo space on your vehicle's roof rack. The TRED mounting adapter system also includes all-stainless steel hardware to withstand harsh environmental conditions. The TRED side-mounting adapter was specifically developed to be used in conjunction with the TRED mounting base plate (part number TPMK) to mount TRED recovery boards to the side of a vehicle's roof rack, fitting both 1-inch (approx. 25.4mm) upper tube rails and 1.4-inch (approx. 35.6mm) lower base rail tubes.
