Developed and rigorously tested in the harsh Australian environment, these large-bore, position-sensitive bypass shock absorbers with remote reservoirs can be installed without vehicle modifications, providing both a comfortable ride in city driving and significant end-zone damping for superior chassis control and handling off-road. Damping performance is adjustable for both rebound and compression, allowing you to significantly transform your vehicle's ride and custom-tune it to specific conditions and vehicle setups. The body, reservoir, and all components are CNC-machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and hard-anodized with a Type 3 40-micron finish for superior heat dissipation, corrosion resistance, and protection against stone chips. BP-51 shock absorbers are not only designed, developed, and tested by ARB's Old Man Emu ride control engineering team but are also manufactured in-house by ARB. To achieve this, significant investment has been made in state-of-the-art machining equipment, allowing for complete control over the manufacturing process to ensure the highest quality.
