Developed and extensively tested under Australia's harshest conditions, these large-bore, position-sensitive bypass shock absorbers feature remote reservoirs and are designed to be installed as a bolt-on solution without vehicle modifications. They combine a comfortable ride for street driving with superior vehicle control and handling off-road, providing ample damping force at the limits. Damping performance is easily adjustable for both rebound and compression, allowing for significant changes in ride quality and custom tuning tailored to conditions and vehicle setup. The body, reservoir, and components are all manufactured from 6061 T6 aluminum and finished with a Type 3 40-micron hard-anodized coating, providing excellent heat dissipation, corrosion resistance, and protection against stone chips. Beyond being designed, developed, and tested by ARB's Old Man Emu ride engineering team, all BP-51 shock absorbers are manufactured in-house by ARB. To achieve this, ARB has invested heavily in state-of-the-art machinery, ensuring full control over the manufacturing process to guarantee the highest quality.
